The Audio System Architect works closely with the Product Management team on the Product Requirements Documents (PRD), based on their Marketing Requirements Documents (MRD) and yearly planned technology roadmap, and ensures that the different product development cycles are conformed to the PRDs. This person is also involved in developing the HWs associated with reference designs and demo systems.
This role requires a good understanding of the hardware and software system solution for a consumer or automotive application with audio/voice built in.
The person in this role shall also have a good understanding of the product development lifecycle, market players, ecosystem, and product use cases. This would require close coordination with cross-functional teams, including Product management, Marketing and Sales, Customers, and Algorithm and BSP developers.
