Project Manager

Santa Clara, CA or Remote

The Project Manager will lead the successful delivery of TalkTo voice UI and TalkTogether voice communication design solutions for audio products and ensure that the scope and resource constraints are balanced. The PM will be responsible for creating the project management plan and ensuring that the team is executing to the plan in order to complete the project successfully by achieving the project goals within the established scope, schedule and quality with a high degree of customer satisfaction. We are looking for a creative and dedicated individual who will fit with our collaborative culture.

A Day in the Life:

  • Lead and manage successful delivery of DSP Concepts projects
  • Project planning and execution, issue and risk management, stakeholder management, and develop and deliver effective communications
  • Provide excellent service and build ongoing relationships with clients
  • Provide program guidance and support to your project teams
  • Understand client's resource capabilities and constraints, and adjust the project plan accordingly
  • Develop and deliver project activities including scheduling, resourcing, backlog management
  • Manage issues and escalations on projects
  • Manage team activities and project dependencies to ensure on time project deliverables
  • Present project status via dashboards to all relevant stakeholders
  • Improve internal processes as needed for efficiency gains
  • Field customer inquiries and respond or get responses for them
  • Manage HW needs for the project
  • Kickoff the project for internal teams and customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering focused on audio, communications or related field
  • Project planning and execution, issue and risk management, stakeholder management, and develop and deliver effective communications
  • 5-8 years of project management and related experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Solid interpersonal skills, and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within and outside DSP Concepts
  • Ability to work primarily independently and concurrently manage multiple projects
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English
  • Ability to work collaboratively for the best interests of the business and the team
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
