Software Project Manager

The Software Project Manager will lead the successful delivery of audio designs for Audio Weaver products for automotive customers and ensure that the scope and resource constraints are balanced. The PM will be responsible for creating the project management plan and ensuring that the team is executing the plan in order to complete the project successfully by achieving the project goals within the established scope, schedule and quality with a high degree of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities for this position are: 

  • Lead and manage successful delivery of DSP Concepts projects within the automotive Industry
  • Project planning and execution, issue and risk management, stakeholder management, and developing and delivering effective communication
  • Provide excellent service and build ongoing relationships with clients and program guidance and support to your project teams
  • Understand client's resource capabilities and constraints, and adjust the project plan accordingly
  • Develop and deliver project activities including scheduling, resourcing, backlog management
  • Work with globally distributed development teams
  • Manage issues and escalations on projects and team activities and project dependencies to ensure on time project deliverables
  • Present project status via dashboards to all relevant stakeholders
  • Improve internal processes as needed for efficiency gains and field customer inquiries and respond or get responses for them

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Audio, SW, Computer Science, Communications or related field
  • 2-5 years of project management for automotive projects and related experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Expertise with Automotive SPICE processes
  • Familiarity with Version Control Systems like Git and BitBucket as well as ticket systems like JIRA
  • Experience in Requirements Management
  • Expertise in AGILE Development processes
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in German and English language 
  • Solid interpersonal skills, and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within and outside DSP Concepts
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
